   As a major wheat-producing region in the North China Plain, the 300-acre wheat field in Shijiazhuang, Hebei faces typical regional challenges: spring drought with little rainfall, high evaporation rates, and local water characterized by high hardness and sediment content. Traditional irrigation methods struggle to meet operational demands, failing to ensure irrigation uniformity while also leading to water waste and high labor costs, severely hindering efficient wheat cultivation.
   To address these pain points, the project implemented a solution deeply integrating CHENGSA intelligent control valves with a sprinkler + fixed gun system. This approach precisely aligns with local climate and water quality characteristics, achieving accurate irrigation and efficient, intelligent management for the wheat field. The CHENGSA valves feature specialized anti-clogging designs, effectively resisting erosion from high-sediment water and preventing irrigation interruptions due to valve blockages, ensuring stable and efficient irrigation. Simultaneously, they possess automatic flow and pressure regulation functions, capable of real-time matching with end-sprinkler demands, guaranteeing uniform irrigation across the entire field, successfully overcoming the industry challenge of excessive water evaporation and poor irrigation effectiveness under arid climates. Furthermore, the system incorporates solar power supply and 4G communication technology, eliminating the need for field wiring, significantly reducing construction costs and long-term maintenance difficulties, and enabling convenient remote control, making irrigation management more worry-free and efficient.
   Relying on this intelligent irrigation solution, the project has yielded significant value and results, successfully achieving a triple breakthrough in "cost reduction, water saving, and yield increase." It provides a replicable and scalable intelligent solution for efficient wheat cultivation in the North China Plain. The specific outcomes are as follows:
  • Cost Reduction and Efficiency Increase, Drastically Reducing Labor Input: Through remote setting of irrigation duration and automatic rotation of irrigation groups, only 2 people are needed to manage the entire irrigation for the 300-acre wheat field. Compared to the traditional manual irrigation requirement of 6-8 people, labor costs are directly reduced by over 70%. Actual calculations show that the 300-acre field can save over 30,000 yuan annually in labor costs, effectively alleviating the labor burden on farmers and enhancing overall cultivation benefits.

  • Precise Water Saving, Improving Water Resource Utilization: The fixed guns provide even coverage, minimizing water evaporation and ineffective loss. One precise irrigation cycle for the entire field takes only about 6 hours, increasing irrigation efficiency by 200% compared to traditional methods and significantly shortening the irrigation cycle. Concurrently, water resource utilization is improved by over 30%, saving approximately 150 cubic meters of water per acre annually. For the 300-acre field, this translates to over 45,000 cubic meters of water saved each year. This precisely meets the development needs of water-scarce areas in the North China Plain, achieving the dual goals of water conservation and efficient irrigation.

  • Precise Water Supply, Enhancing Wheat Quality and Yield: The CHENGSA intelligent irrigation system can precisely regulate water supply according to key growth stages like jointing and filling, providing optimal moisture conditions for wheat growth and effectively mitigating the drawbacks of traditional "flood irrigation." Comparative data shows that after implementing this solution, the thousand-kernel weight of wheat increased by 8%, and the yield per acre increased by over 120 jin. Based on market prices, the 300-acre field generates an additional annual income exceeding 36,000 yuan, delivering substantial benefits to farmers and promoting the transformation of wheat cultivation towards intelligence and high efficiency.
